May 5, 2025 – Children’s Aid has set up a second water pump in the arid section of Tharparkar, Sindh — making the wish of clean, safe drinking water a reality for dozens of families.

The new pump provides sustainable water to a previously water-scarce community. For parents here, water is not just about staying hydrated — it’s about health, dignity, and hope for a better tomorrow.

Children, once trudging miles in the sun for hours in order to haul a few water jugs, now have additional hours of school and playtime.

Mothers can now exhale, and families overall are optimistic.
