RAMADAN RATION PROGRAM 2024
The “Ramadan Ration Program 2024” is dedicated to providing essential support during the holy month. In a caring way, we work to help people who don’t have enough food, specifically targeting the act of feeding the poor. Your help makes it possible for us to continue this important work and positively impact the lives of those who need it the most.
Ramadan, a time of fasting, reflection, and spiritual renewal, offers us a unique opportunity to come together as a community and make a profound impact on the lives of those less fortunate. This Ramadan, we invite you to join us in our Zakat Appeal a call to action driven by compassion, generosity, and the timeless principles of Islamic charity.
In a world facing unprecedented challenges, countless individuals and families are struggling to meet their basic needs. Poverty, hunger, and hardships have become a harsh reality for many. Zakat, a pillar of Islam, embodies the essence of compassion and selflessness. It is a powerful force for positive change, serving as a lifeline for the less fortunate. Your Zakat has the potential to provide food to the hungry, shelter to the homeless, education to the eager, and healthcare to the ailing. It can mend broken hearts, heal wounded souls, and create opportunities where there were once barriers.
What is the Children's Aid Ramadan Ration Program 2024?
Every year during the blessed month of Ramadan we run an appeal to feed as many poor families as we can in Pakistan and Kenya. To do this we run a campaign to collect Zakat, Sadaqah, and Lillah donations that are then used to fund this project. The campaign is run and managed by Children’s Aid and its partners in Pakistan and Kenya and 100% of the proceeds raised are used solely and entirely for this project. Children’s Aid and its partners in Pakistan and Kenya are responsible for overseeing this project and personally managing the purchase of essential bulk food items. These items are then re-packaged into ration packs and distributed amongst extremely poor and impoverished families so they may be able to eat during the month of Ramadan.
As the recipients of the project are very poor and needy Muslim families the project is Zakat compliant.
There are many poor and impoverished families living in Pakistan and Kenya that can just about afford to eat one meal a day. For those destitute families that face hunger on a daily basis we provide a lifeline of support though the provision of essential rations and food aid during Ramadan. One ration pack is designed to help feed a family of four for a month. Our aim is to distribute as many ration packs as possible before and throughout Ramadan that can help to alleviate hunger.
Your donations will ensure poor families can eat for the duration of Ramadan. This project has previously been undertaken for the past several years in Pakistan and Kenya with great success. Every year we look to expand our reach and Inshallah benefit many more desperate families with food aid.
