In many communities across Pakistan, young girls from Zakat-eligible families dream of helping their households — but poverty limits their options.
Through Children’s Aid Women’s Skills Training Programme, we provide free sewing and tailoring courses to deserving girls.
They do not pay a fee.
They are not turned away because of poverty.
They are given a chance.
When they complete the course, we don’t just hand them a certificate —
we gift them a sewing machine, so they can start earning immediately from home.
What begins as learning how to stitch becomes something much greater.
A daughter begins supporting her mother.
A girl starts contributing to school expenses for her siblings.
A household that once struggled finds a new source of income.
This is more than a course.
It is independence.
It is dignity.
It is a future stitched with hope.
