Dreams shattered: A bleak future awaits Gaza’s children

Life is extremely difficult for gaza’s children.  They are living a life of war, terror, and insecurity. Each day they are facing problems that no child should ever face — no access to clean water, poor food, substandard health centers, and at times flattened or overcrowded schools. Their future is greatly dark, and most of their dreams are being ruined even before they have any hope of growing up.

Life for most of Gaza’s children in Gaza is devoid of the basics of clean water to drink or adequate food. Homes, schools, and hospitals in Gaza have been destroyed during the war, and everyday life is extremely difficult. As a result of the Gaza blockade, essential goods and medicine hardly reach Gaza children in time, subjecting most of the children to diseases that can be prevented. Without early medical intervention and proper nutrition, Gaza children risk deadly health complications that affect their development and health.
